Important: Your Google Calendar Data - To integrate with Google Calendar, we require read-access to your calendar data. However, this data is only accessed temporarily and is never stored on our servers. Your calendar information remains solely on your device and in your Google Calendar account. We only read calendar events to display them within the app interface for time tracking purposes.

Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

Usage Information: We collect information about how you use our app, including features used, time spent in the app, and interaction patterns to improve our services.

Third-Party Services and Analytics

Your Google Calendar data is accessed only for display purposes within Where is My Time and to create time entries based on those events - it is never stored on our servers. We do not sell your personal data. Most importantly, we do not store or share your Google Calendar data at all - it stays on your device and in your Google account. We may share limited account information with third-party service providers who assist us in providing our services, such as cloud hosting for app functionality (not calendar data storage). We may also disclose your information if required by law or if we believe it is necessary to protect our rights or the rights of others.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy. Specifically:

• Account Information: Retained until you delete your account
• Google Calendar Data: Never stored on our servers - remains only on your device and Google account
• Usage Analytics: Anonymized app usage data (not calendar content) may be retained for up to 2 years for service improvement
• Support Communications: Retained for 3 years to provide ongoing support

When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and implement appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
